The "Blurred Lines" hitmaker will give some "special heartfelt tribute" to the late actor, who died last month after suffering a heart attack, reported Femalefirst.
The event will commemorate the 100 greatest players in National Hockey League history.
Thicke will also be honoured during the All-Star Celebrity Shootout event, a hockey game between NHL stars and celebrities from the worlds of film, TV and music.
Both teams will wear jerseys featuring a patch dedicated to the famous sports fan.
The NHL 100 Gala, to be hosted by actor Jon Hamm, will also feature an appearance by singer John Legend.
