However, one of the wagons of the goods train carrying dolomite jumped the rail between Balugaon and Chilka stations in Khurda Road-Brahmapur railway section of the East Coast Railway, a statement by the railway said.
When the goods train was passing near Balugaon level crossing, on-duty gateman BK Sethi noticed a problem in a particular wagon and alerted the driver and co-loco-pilot.
The train was immediately stopped, resulting in the derailment of all wheels of one wagon, blocking the up line.
The alert gateman would be felicitated.
