The 27-year-old Swedish actress, who is dating Michael Fassbender, said she does not feel connected to the American culture, reported Female First.
"I don't think so. I don't feel very close to American culture. I'm much more European in my sensibility. I feel comfortable living in London now," Vikander said.
However, the "Danish Girl" star says her journey in the UK did not start off well.
"I don't have very good memories of when I moved here. I was sharing this terrible - and very expensive - little flat, and when I first opened the door there were at least half a dozen rats running around in there.
