Almond, its kernel edge up on scattered demand

Almond and its kernel prices ended higher at the wholesale dry fruits market in the national capital today on mild demand from retailers and stockists.
However, other dry fruits held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said some winter season demand from retailers, mainly led to rise in almond and its kernel prices.
Almond (California) rose by Rs 50 to Rs 17,150-17,350 per 40 kg. Its kernel also edged up by Rs 5 to Rs 620-630 per kg.
