Alten Calsoft Labs acquires US-based PVR Technologies

Enterprise IT and engineering services firm Alten Calsoft Labs today acquired US-based clinical research organisation (CRO) company PVR Technologies and its subsidiaries.
Alten Calsoft Labs, a subsidiary of Paris-headquartered Alten Group, however, did not share the financial details of the deal.
Alten Calsoft Labs works with healthcare and life science companies in their strategic product engineering, IT and digital initiatives.
PVR Technologies, founded in 2006, renders services to Fortune 500 clients particularly in the areas of biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device and clinical research.
Alten Calsoft Labs has a staff strength of about 2,000, of which over 1,500 are based in India. The company has offices in Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.
"Inorganic growth is a part of our strategy and this acquisition strengthens our healthcare story in US. PVR Technologies is an ideal fit for Alten Calsoft Labs with the vision of creating our expertise in the area of statistics, business intelligence, analysis and reporting," Gerald Attia, Deputy CEO, Alten Group said in a statement.
"We welcome over 200 statistical minds that will enable us to achieve a stronger presence in the US region and will accelerate our drive in the Healthcare and Life Sciences markets," Ramandeep Singh, CEO, Alten Calsoft Labs said.
