Siggins died yesterday in a Denver hospital from complications from kidney stone surgery, reported TMZ.
She contracted an infection that spread through her body. Siggins had sacral agenesis, a genetic disorder that caused her kidney and pancreas problems throughout her life. A GoFundMe account has been set up in her honour. She is survived by two children.
Siggins portrayed Legless Suzi in the fourth season of "American Horror Story", which aired from 2014 to 2015. She is the second actor from "Freak Show" to die this year, following the death of Ben Woolf, who played Meep.
"The AHS family lost one of our own... Rose Siggins was an absolute light... I will never forget your laugh or your beautiful eyes," tweeted actress Sarah Paulson.
"Today we mourn Rose Siggins who died today. Please consider helping the two children she leaves behind," wrote actor Denis O'Hare.
Actress Gabourey Sidibe tweeted, "So sorry to hear of the passing of Rose Siggins. I pray for her children. Please donate if you can.
