The film, helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.

Actress Vidya Balan will be seen in a special appearance as a cop in the movie, which will mark the reunion of the "Dirty Picture" star with Sujoy and Nawazuddin with whom she last worked in the 2012 thriller "Kahaani".
Vidya and Bachchan, earlier worked in the 2009 drama "Paa", where she played mother to the latter, then 67 years, suffering from Progeria.
