Andrew WK Langstieh is new DVC chairman

Andrew WK Langstieh has been appointed as the chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
Langstieh is likely to join from September 1, a company release said here today.
DVC was without a full-time chairman since November 2013. NTPC Chairman Arup Roychowdhury was given additional charge of chairman of the multipurpose river valley project which has installed power capacity of 6,357 MW.
Langstieh, an Indian Audit Accounts Service officer of the 1982 batch, is presently serving in Delhi as Director General of Audit (Central Expenditure), the release added.
