Anil Kumar Raturi is new DGP of Uttarakhand

Anil Kumar Raturi has been appointed the new Director General of Police of Uttarakhand.
An order to this effect was issued here last evening by Home Secretary Vinod Sharma after the approval of Governor K K Paul.
A 1986-batch IPS officer, Raturi takes over from M A Ganpati who has been appointed as the additional director general of the CISF by the Union Home Ministry.
Currently posted as DG Vigilance, Raturi will assume office as the new DGP of Uttarakhand on Monday, official sources said here.
