To promote the festival, TCGL has also launched some attractive tour packages to suit the time and budget of tourists, TCGL, Mumbai, Resident Manager Sanatan Pancholi, said at a press conference here.
"The two-day package will commence from Surat and will cover sites like Eco Point, Wagha Bari, Step Garden, Artistic Village, Museum Lake, Sunset point and rope-way. The package is nominally priced at Rs 5,000," Pancholi said.
It also includes one-day tour to Dang district's tribal spots.
The festival will be followed by Tarnetar fair from August 29 to 31 at the temple of Lord Shiva, he said.
The state in 2013-14 has attracted 287.88 lakhs tourists, which is 13.30 per cent higher than the previous year,Pancholi said.
