Four persons were arrested during the raids in different pockets of Raghunathganj police station area since last night, a senior police officer said.
SP Mukhesh said 94 kg of explosives were found first from Darbeshpara locality in the district during a raid yesterday.
After arresting two persons during the raid at Darbeshpara, police got to know about a huge quantity explosive materials stored in a godown in Suti village under Raghunathganj police station limits, the SP said.
One quintal of explosives was seized during the second raid in Suti early today and another two persons were rounded up, the officer said.
On November 6, three Nepali citizens, including a woman, were arrested in Siliguri with a large consignment of explosives, includng 609 gelatin sticks, 200 detonators and 230 cartridge shellls.
