Suresh was attacked at Veeravanallur early this morning, police said adding investigation was on to find out whether the latest killing had any link to the other two.
Two Dalits, one a District Secretary of a Dalit outfit, were murdered in Bargid Nagar and Melapattinam yesterday, leading to violence by protestors and a police lathicharge to disperse them.
Police said personnel have been deployed at sensitive locations and they were closely monitoring the situation which was slowly returning to normalcy.
Police clarified that the Murders were not communal and attributed them to personal enmity. Further investigation was on.
