The MoU was signed here yesterday in the presence of S R Umashankar, MD, KSRTC and Himanshu Shukla, MD, APTDC, said a release issued here today.
As per the MoU, APTDC will provide short duration accommodation at Tirupati for the pilgrims coming from Bengaluru on KSRTC buses, provide breakfast or lunch, arrange for transport from Tirupati to Tirumala and back and for tickets for darshan at Balaji temple.
Initially, these services will be available for passengers arriving from Bengaluru and later it will be extended to the pilgrims coming from other districts of Karnataka by KSRTC buses.
