Arhar, its dal declines on low demand

Barring a fall in arhar and its dal prices due to slackened demand from retailers, rest other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said sluggish demand against sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on arhar and its dal prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,600 and Rs 11,900-13,900 per quintal respectively.
