Arhar, its dal remain weak on adequate supply

Prices of arhar and its dal fell further by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on adequate supplies from producing belts against easing demand.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said higher supplies from producing regions against weak demand from retailers mainly kept arhar and its dal prices lower.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety remained under supplies pressure and fell further by Rs 50 each at Rs 6,950-7,050 and Rs 8,350-8,550 per quintal, respectively.
