Addressing gathering on the occasion, Ansari called for more open discourse on culture, saying this has been our tradition for thousands of years.
Citing Mahatma Gandhi on the importance of open cultural discussions, the Vice President said that if all windows are opened, wind will come from all the sides.
"Many meanings of culture have been derived in today's world," he said.
