Arms factory busted in Etah village

Police today claimed to have busted an illegal arms factory in a raid at Paroli village here.
The raid was carried out at the factory yesterday and several country-made pistols were seized along with equipments for arms manufacturing, Sub Inspector Kailash Chandra said.
Two villagers, Awdhesh and Baboo Ram, were arrested in the raid but other suspects escaped, the SI added.
He claimed the accused allegedly confessed to being in the business since a long time and the pistols sold between Rs 4000 and Rs 6000.
An FIR in this connection has been lodged with the police under Arms Act, the SI said.
