Army chief visits Central Command HQ

Army chief General Bipin Rawat visited the Central Command headquarters here today and was briefed about operational readiness of forces by Lieutenant General B S Negi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the command.

In an official statement, a Defence PRO said, General Bipin Rawat was also briefed by Air Marshal SBP Sinha, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Central Air Command and formation commanders on various other operational aspects."
