Army Jawan commits suicide in Samba

An army jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, a police official said.
Sepoy Adarsh Kumar a resident of Rajasthan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in the Banglad area of the district today, he said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, official said.
A case has been registered, he said adding that police has started investigations to ascertain the case for which Kumar took the extreme step.
