Army jawan dies of swine flu in Jammu

An army jawan posted at the Akhnoor-based Crossed Swords Division died of swine flu today.
"Soldier Havildar Dangar Bavan Danabhai, who was serving under Crossed Swords Division, died of swine flu at the Military Hospital, Satwari today," Jammu-based defense spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
He said the soldier was admitted in the military hospital on February 14 after he tested positive for H1N1 virus.
"His test reports for the virus were positive. He breathed his last early today morning," Mehta said.
