According to a complaint filed by Karmveer Singh, who runs Vision Institute of Study, on the night of July 14, some unidentified persons barged into the institute office and stole Rs 99,578 kept in one of the almirahs.
Singh, a resident of Spring Field Colony here, suspects people engaged in painting work at the office of having committed the offence.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons at Sector-7 police station Faridabad under relevant sections of the IPC.
Investigating officer ASI Mohammad Irdish said it seems that an insider was involved in the crime as the CCTV camera installed in the office was switched off at 7.30 PM on the night the theft took place.
