Arson attack kills 2 in China, suspect surrenders
Press Trust of India Beijing At least two women were killed and five others injured in an arson attack on a night club allegedly by a disgruntled customer in central China's Hunan province.
The attack took place at 'Night Shanghai' club in Shaodong County last night, killing two waitresses.
The fire was apparently set by 29-year-old Zhao Hu, a local seeking vengeance after he believed he had been overcharged at the venue in January, Shaodong police said today.
Surveillance video shows Hu, arriving at the night club on a motorbike, puncturing its gasoline tank with a knife and fleeing the scene after igniting gasoline on the floor, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Hu today surrendered to police and is being interrogated, the report said.
