Nearly 200 swimmers from various parts of the state took part in the championship organised by Rajkot District Swimming Association.
The championship was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Swiming pool. Aryan finished the competition by winning eight gold medals and also set a new state record in 200 mt individual by finishing the length taking time of 3.01.58.
The earlier record was set by Rahul Chokshi who had taken 3.02.46. While Arushi SM got a gold medal in 200 mt individual events in girls category, while Jemin Suvagiya of Rajkot and Rajendrasingh won gold medals in 200 mt back stroke in boys I and boys II categories respectively.
