At 45.8 degrees Celsius, Nagpur hottest city in Vidarbha

The city witnessed a marginal drop in maximum temperature at 45.8 degrees Celsius today from 46.2 degrees Celsius registered on Monday as Vidarbha region continues to reel under intense heat wave.
While Wardha recorded 44.4 degrees Celsius, other cities and towns in the region recorded temperature below 44 degrees Celsius.
Amravati, Gondia and Chandrapur recorded 43.4, 43.3 and 43 degrees Celsius respectively, while Akola recorded 42.2 and Washim recorded 40 degrees Celsius respectively.
Maximum temperature in Buldhana and Yavatmal was 39.5 and 39 degrees Celsius respectively.
