ATM machine containing Rs 15.56 lakh cash stolen in UP

In a daring heist, unidentified robbers allegedly have decamped with an ATM machine containing Rs 15.56 lakh cash in Shishgarh area here, police said today.
Manager of Bank of Baroda Vishal Bhardwaj complained that when the branch was opened this morning they found the shutter was broken and the ATM machine was missing, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava said that prima facie it appears that on failing to take out the cash, the accused escaped with the ATM machine.
An FIR has been registered in the matter, the ASP said, adding that efforts were on to identify the accused.
