The culprits gained entry into the bank, at railway station road near clock tower, from the rear side late last night by removing the grill and frame.
As their attempt to break open the locker by using a gas cutter and cylinder could not succeed, they fled away leaving behind the equipments.
CCTV cameras inside the premises were found broken and LCD monitors connecting them were thrown out. However, the culprits took away the computer hard disc.
Bank authorities said that cash and valuables inside the locker remain safe.
DSP, Kasargod, A Srinivas, Circle Inspector Sudhakaran inspected the spot.
Finger print experts and dog squad have been pressed into service, police said.
