Atul's Q3 profit declines 17.67 per cent to Rs 53.71 crore

Chemical firm Atul Ltd today reported a 17.67 per cent decline in its standalone net profit at Rs 53.71 crore for the third quarter ended in December 31, 2014.
The Ahmadabad-based company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 65.24 crore profit during October-December quarter.
However, net sales of the company increased 7.19 per cent to Rs 617.18 crore during the period under review as against Rs 575.77 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,340.80 per scrip on the BSE, down 2.98 per cent from its previous close.
