Automated driving test centres are being set up in each district of Haryana where facilities like checking of vehicles will be available, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said today.
Besides, training will also be imparted to Haryana Roadways conductors so as to further improve their conduct, Khattar said.
He was speaking at a meeting of Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGAs) here, an official release said.
Khattar said that there were separate windows for providing services related to the registration of vehicles and driving licenses but efforts were being made to ensure that these are available at a single window.
"To ensure this, a single window system on 73 e-disha centres is being scaled up," he said.
To improve conduct and behaviour of conductors of Haryana Roadways, training would be imparted to them in two districts on a pilot basis, CM said.
Besides the conductors, each employee working in the state government should have a good conduct, he added.
He directed the officers concerned to prepare authentic data of people of the state and also ensure hundred per cent registration of birth and death.
This would help in framing effective policies and programmes of public welfare, he said.
In view of the success of the scheme, CMGGAs have been deputed in the departments of Police, Agriculture, Ease of Doing Business, Urban Local Bodies, Finance and Renewable Energy, he added.
