Automatic ticket vending machines in 15 centres in Salem dvn

: Automatic ticket vending machines were introduced in 15 centres in Salem Railway Division, a top Railway official said
Salem railway division Manager Suburasu, who launched one such machine here, told reporters that the machines were set up in cities like Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Karur.
The DRM said purified drinking water facility would be provided in 21 railway stations, including Mettupalayam, Tirupur and Udhagamandalam joinlty with private parties.
A first aid hospital would be opened at Coonoor, while a new building for North coimbatore railway station would soon be declared open, he said.
