Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger heading for split?

Singer Avril Lavigne's marriage to musician husband Chad Kroeger is reportedly in trouble.
There were rumours earlier that the couple had been fighting a lot in the past few months and were having a lot of issues, reported E! Online.
According to sources, things are still not fine between the couple. Lavigne celebrated her 30th birthday last month sans her 39-year-old husband and earlier this week, while Kroeger hit up Hollywood hotspot Bar Marmont where he was photographed without his wedding ring.
"Things still aren't good. But Avril's friends are encouraging her to try and work it out. They don't like Chad, but she's already been through one painful divorce and they don't want to see her going through another unless there's no other option.

"Also, she and Chad haven't been married that long so her friends want her to make sure she's given it every chance before pulling the plug," a source said.
The two met when they were collaborating on Lavigne's album, but their efforts were met with less than stellar sales, which only created problems for the couple.

"(Now that) the album did not do as well as they had hoped, they're finding that they're not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things," the source said.
The two have reportedly been breaking their 'marriage rules' after previously vowing to never go out to nightclubs or drink without each other.

"There's jealousy on both sides. She flirts, he flirts. She's very insecure to begin with," the source added.
