Avril Lavigne is ready for her musical comeback

Singer Avril Lavigne is geared up for her musical comeback and has promised her fans that her new music will be out soon.
The 32-year-old singer has not dropped an album since her self-titled 2013 album as she has been battling Lyme disease.
However, in a recent Instagram post, Lavigne shared the exciting news that she is alive and "putting together" new music that "will be here before (we) know it".
"To my fans, I just want to thank everyone for their patience as I work on putting together this new album," she shared in the update.
"It's been a long recovery and I want to make sure that this is perfect for you guys. You only deserve my best effort and that's what I'm going to deliver. I can't wait to share the new music I've been working on, I promise it will be here before you know it," she wrote.

Back in March, Lavigne announced she had signed a new record deal with BMG, before confirming that her sixth studio album will release this year.
