The 54-year-old frontman headed to eatery Old Homestead Steakhouse with AC/DC on Monday night to celebrate the group nearing the end of their "Rock or Bust World Tour", but there was just one glass of wine consumed, while Angus Young had a ginger ale, reported New York Daily News.
An insider said, "Axl said he doesn't do alcohol anymore when he's on tour because it's not good for his voice."
The band decided to hold a celebratory bash at the New York City eatery before playing in the city's Madison Square Garden last night and concluding their run of gigs in Philadelphia next week.
