Ayudha Pooja celebrated with religious fervour

Ayudha Pooja was celebrated in Puducherry today with religious fervour and gaiety.
The day was also observed as Saraswathi pooja and one could see residential premises being spruced up.
Managements of several temples held special programmes as today was the concluding day of the nine day navarathri festival.
Children would be initiated into the world of learning tomorrow (Vijayadasami day).
Lt Governor Kiran Bedi, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, ministers besides leaders of various political parties and outfits were among those who extended Ayudha Pooja greetings to the people of Puducherry.
