The campaign will be launched by National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) of the Ministry of AYUSH August 201-21 at Institute of Agriculture Management (SIAM), Durgapura, in Jaipur.
Approximately 500 farmers who are cultivating medicinal plants from across the country will participate in the two-day event.
During the event, an Interactive Meet cum Seminar will also be organised on Medicinal Plants involving farmers, experts, traders, industries and other stakeholders of medicinal plants sector. Most of the stakeholders will be benefited through this event.
At present, NMPB promotes medicinal plants conservation, cultivation, research, marketing, quality and other activities under Central Sector Scheme for "Conservation, Development and Sustainable Management of Medicinal Plants".
