Bachchan is all about Big B and more: Jeet

Having shot in the same place where the Big B had picturised songs of the Great Gambler, Superstar Jeet says the long-sleeved shirt he wore in Bachchan also had that retro look of the angry of the 70s.
"It can't be a coincidence. Just before the shoot at Pedro Dos Descobrimento in picturesque Portugal I was told Bacchan Sir had shot in the same place a popular number in the 70s superduper hit. Let's hope with his blessings, we will again be taken over by the masses," Jeet told PTI on the eve of the special screening of the mainstream genre flick where he essayed an ardent Big B fan.

The title track 'Bachchan Bachchan', liked by the 'Sahenshah of Bollywood' in his Twitter handle, had also the Dewar effect, another Big B blockbuster, with the casual shirt tied in a knot.
"I had watched Dewar seven times, first time on return from school in our modest neighbourhood hall on its release date, evening show. That effect and feeling still linger on," Jeet, who had delivered a string of hits to Bengali audiences including Awara and more recent Boss, said.
"In the end sequences I tell the villain 'Haam jaha khare hote hain, line ohi se suru hoti haain,'. Remember the famous line from Kalia. Bacchan can be a collage of different cult films of my one and only idol in the true sense. No it's a tribute from Bengali cinema to the most popular matinee idol, an icon unparalleled in the world," he said about the film jointly produced by Realance Entertainment and Grassroot Entertainment.

Jeet, who claimed the sequel to upcoming Boss was an original storyline derived from realistic genre, said in a lighter vein he was more experienced in handling his "beautiful" co-stars than any other contemporary belonging to his generation.
Jeet cavorted three gorgeous actresses - including Diva Subhosree and Chostuskone sensation Payel Sarkar - in the film.
