A plastic bag containing a tablet attached with wires created panic in city's Dwarka locality this afternoon, but eventually turned out to be a hoax, officials said.
"The bag was found under a tree opposite Ravindra High School. Some people noticed it and informed the police, following which the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and sniffer dogs were pressed into service," Anand Wagh, incharge of BDDS, said.
The officials of BDDS evacuated the area and inspected the area, he said, adding the threat was a hoax. Investigation is on.
