Additional District sessions Judge R P Singh yesterday issued warrant against Yograj Singh, a BSP leader, after he failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons.

The court directed SSP Muzaffarnagar to execute the warrant on Yograj to appear before the court on December 13 for cross examination in connection with the case.

Yograj is an eye witness and complainant in the murder of his father and Congress leader Choudhry Jagbir Singh.

Jagbir was shot dead at Ahlawalpur village in September 2003.

A case was registered against three persons, including Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Naresh Tikait.

Two of the accused died during the pendency of the case.
