Bains promoted as Additional Chief Secretary

Senior IAS officer Iqbal Singh Bains has been promoted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) by the Madhya Pradesh government, a senior official said today.
Bains, a 1985 batch IAS officer, is currenly holding the charge of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and also Aviation Department.
He will now also hold the charge of Energy department along with the current responsibilities in his capacity as ACS in the pay scale of Chief Secretary, the official added.
