Bajra inches up on scattered demand

In thin trading, bajra prices were higher by Rs 5 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to scattered demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains continued to trade in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said mild demand from consuming industries helped bajra prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, bajra weakened by Rs 5 to Rs 1,100-1,105 per quintal.
