College Road here was gutted in fire this morning.
Nobody was injured.
Passers-by alerted the fire brigade after seeing smoke coming out of the Bangalore Iyengar Bakery on College Road.
Following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot which brought the fire under control. Cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, Sarkarwada police said.
An LPG cylinder in the bakery exploded, damaging the wall of a shop nearby.
