"The Bangladesh prime minister called me over phone and congratulated me," Deb told reporters here.
She also said her government would extend support and cooperation for the implementation of all projects involving Bangladesh and Tripura, he said.
Bangladesh shares a 856-km-long border with Tripura.
Earlier in the day, Deb took oath as the chief minister of the first BJP government in the state, ending the 25-year rule of the Left Front.
Governor Tathagata Roy administered the oath of office and secrecy to Deb at a function here.
