Six dacoits brandishing pistols came to the bank located on the National Highway (NH) -2 close to the district's border with Aurangabad, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nishant Kumar Tiwary said
They threatened the bank employees and took the money from them and fled by motorcycles, the SSP said.
The SSP also said that images of the robbers had been captured by the Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras installed within the bank premises and they had been identified.
Police teams under the leadership of City SP Rakesh Kumar are conducting raids to nab them.
