Bank manager, computer operator booked for 'cheating'
Surinder Singh, Manager of Punjab National Bank's Garhshankar branch and Harpreet Singh the computer operator of the branch were booked under relevant sections of the IPC for cheating a customer, police said.
The customer, Nirmal Singh, alleged that the two accused transferred Rs 2.50 lakh from his account to another person's account.
No arrests have been made so far, police said.
