Barley edges up on uptick in demand

Barley prices edged higher by Rs 15 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Traders said pick-up in demand from consuming industries mainly helped barley prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, barley rose by Rs 15 to Rs 1,590-1,610 per quintal.
