Barley rises on increased off-take

In restricted activity, barley prices rose by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to increased off-take by consuming industries.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range on scattered buying and selling and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said increased offtake by consuming industries mainly led to rise in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley went up by Rs 20 to Rs 1,370-1,380 per quintal.
