Be pro-active in state's devp: HP CM to officers on central

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today exhorted officers of the state cadre on central deputation to play a pro-active role in speeding up the state's projects and proposals sent to their respective ministries for accelerating development.
Interacting with the officers at a meeting convened by Union Health and Family Welfare minister J P Nadda at his residence in New Delhi, Thakur said officers are the backbone of any government and play significant role in preparing policies and programmes, a press release stated.
The chief minister said it was a matter of pride for Himachal Pradesh that many officers of the state cadre were working at the Centre and asked them to play an effective role in the growth of the state.

Nadda stressed on the need for proper coordination between officers in the state and at the Centre.
