Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi on Friday paid homage to former Prime Minister A B Vajpayee on his first death anniversary.
In a whatsapp message, she recalled an anecdote during her tenure as a police officer.
Projecting a photograph in the social media, she pointed out nostalgically that Vajpayee and she were standing in the same queue in an airport for a boarding pass.
'I offered him to move and take my position. But he did not," she said in her whatsapp message hinting that Vajpayee was an unassuming and simple leader.
