Actor Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly set to play Shakespeare's tragic hero 'Hamlet' on stage.
The 37-year-old 'Sherlock' star is likely to sigh up for a new production of Hamlet, reported Metro online.
The production will see Cumberbatch for the first time setting his foot on a London stage since appearing in the Danny Boyle-directed version of 'Frankenstein' in 2011.
"It's a role I've been interested in for a long time. I don't know if there is such a thing as a right age to play the part, but 36 or 37 seems appropriate to me," he had said.
