Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles wed his long time girlfriend Gena Avery in Houston, Texas last weekend.
The couple had been engaged for 18 months. Neither the 'Halo' singer nor her sister Solange attended the nuptials, reported TMZ Online.
"Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend," Mathew said.
While Beyonce recently kicked off the US leg of her 'The Mrs Carter Show' world tour, she did not have a concert on the day of her father's wedding and took to the stage in Las Vegas the night before.
It is not known why Solange, 27, was not present but she performed at Glastonbury on June 28.
Matthew split from Beyonce and Solange's mother Tina in 2009 after it was revealed he had an affair and a baby boy, Nixon, with actress Alexsandra Wright.
The businessman, who managed his daughter during her rise to stardom as a teenager with Destiny's Child until 2011, previously admitted he found it incredibly painful to cut professional ties with Beyonce.
