The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.82 crore in the March quarter last fiscal, the company stated in a BSE filing today.
However, as per the statement, the total income of the company from operations came down to Rs 845.56 crore in March quarter this year compared to Rs 1047.63 crore a year ago.
The company's total income too came down to Rs 3,188.44 crore in the fiscal 2016 from Rs 3,366.25 crore in fiscal 2015.
